  • Private Calling & Texting: Shield your real phone number with disposable or long-term second lines for business, dating, buying/selling, and online privacy.
  • No User Tracking: We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, nor do we sell your personal data or phone records to third parties.
  • Data Minimization: We do not record your phone calls or read the contents of your SMS messages for advertising or profiling.
  • Full Account Deletion: You have full control over your data and can permanently delete your account, release your numbers, and erase all call and message logs directly within the app.

1. Introduction

Second Number ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how Second Number (the "App") and the website https://pdfexpert.top/ collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and telecommunication services.

2. Information We Collect

In accordance with our App Store Privacy Manifest and data minimization principles, we only collect information necessary to provide virtual telephony and messaging functionality:

  • Account Information: When you register using Sign in with Apple or anonymous credentials, we receive your Apple User ID, and optionally your name and email address (or Apple Private Relay email).
  • Assigned Numbers & Telephony Data: Virtual phone numbers assigned to your account, call metadata (timestamps, duration, and connection status), and SMS metadata (sender/recipient numbers, delivery timestamps). Call audio is streamed live over carrier networks and is never recorded or stored. Message contents are stored temporarily in encrypted form solely for delivery to your device.
  • Device & Diagnostics Data: Anonymous device identifiers, OS version, push notification tokens, and crash logs used strictly for app stability and real-time call signaling.
  • Subscription Entitlements & Credits: Purchase tokens, credit balances, and subscription status verified securely via Apple's StoreKit 2 APIs. We do not receive or store your credit card or financial billing information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Telephony & Messaging: To assign virtual phone numbers, route voice calls, and transmit SMS/MMS messages;
  • Real-Time Notifications: To deliver incoming call alerts and text notifications to your device via Apple Push Notification service (APNs);
  • Account Synchronization: To securely synchronize your contacts, active numbers, and message threads across authorized devices;
  • Authentication: To authenticate your account securely via Sign in with Apple;
  • Subscription Management: To verify active subscriptions and calling/texting credit balances;
  • Customer Support: To investigate and resolve technical issues or customer support inquiries;
  • Abuse Prevention: To detect and prevent telecommunications fraud, spam, harassment, or unauthorized system misuse in compliance with regulatory standards.

4. Data Sharing & Infrastructure Partners

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal information. We share technical data only with trusted telecommunication and cloud infrastructure providers strictly necessary to deliver telephony services:

  • Telecommunications Carriers & Transit Partners: Licensed carrier partners to provision telephone numbers, route voice calls, and deliver SMS across global carrier networks (VoIP/PSTN).
  • Apple Inc.: For user authentication (Sign in with Apple), push notification delivery (APNs), and StoreKit subscription processing.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Providers: For secure, encrypted database storage, real-time signaling, and crash analytics.

5. Account Deletion & Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as your account remains active. You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time:

  • In-App Deletion: Open Second Number, go to Settings > Delete Account, and confirm. Upon confirmation, your assigned phone numbers are immediately released back to the telecom pool, and your account, message history, call logs, and credentials are permanently erased from our servers.
  • By Email Request: You can also email us at official@pdfexpert.top with your account identifier to request permanent data deletion.

6. Security & Data Safeguards

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your communications and personal data. All signaling and data transmissions between the App and our backend servers are secured using SSL/TLS and SRTP encryption protocols.

7. Children's Privacy

Second Number is not intended for use by children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from or provision telephone services to children.
